FAQs -

Can I use my international insurance as form of payment?

Yes, it is best for you to call your insurance provider and request a letter of “Guarantee of Payment”. With that letter, your insurance company is committing to direct payment for your services. We would bill them directly.

In case you cannot reach your insurer before your visit, we have an international insurance office in San Jose that can reach out to them and check your coverage.

What do I do if it’s the middle of the night and I have an emergency?

In our Huacas facility, we provide 24/7 emergency medical services. So, if your situation allows, please come directly to the clinic. Our team of doctor, nurse and paramedic are always available.

What if I have a life-threatening emergency that cannot be managed locally?

Our medical team will stabilize the patient and then coordinate a medi-vac by land or air. We will ensure that you are transported in a timely manner to the best physician and facility available.

Do you speak english?

Yes, we are bi-lingual and speak both English & Spanish.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, cash or insurance.
